Kenya Making Progress on SALW Reduction

Small arms proliferation is potentially the greatest security threat facing Kenya, and perhaps the East African region as a whole. Under mounting pressure to respond to the threat and maintain security, Kenya’s National Assembly will soon make a decision on modernizing its small arms and light weapons (SALW) legislation.

UNDP Rule of Law Global Programme: Highlights from the 2012 Annual Report

The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Global Programme on the Rule of Law has released a series of annual progress reports since its inception in 2008. The latest, Strengthening the Rule of Law in Crisis Affected and Fragile Situations: Global Programme Annual Report 2012 was released on 24 June 2013.

Drone Attacks: A Challenge for Pakistan’s New Government
